"Beyond reality starts the real wondering, captured by unbridled imagination".

 

At the heart of my work is the solitary search for connection.

In a world where divisions are increasing, but also in my personal life, I am constantly

confronted with the lack of connection.

Without connection it is impossible for me to penentrate the deepest feelings and thoughts of others, and conversely, my own deepest feelings and thoughts remain blocked.

In my art I expose my innermost feelings and thoughts in their individual forms, revealing that they are, deep down, inseparably connected.​

​

In the symbolism of the circle, I find space and comfort to give shape to my longing

for embrace, wholeness and connection.

Although these expressions appear so different and fragmented as isolated episodes, they are ultimately inextricably linked in the deepest sense.

My abstract portraits also seem completely different at first glance, but when one holds one's attention for a longer period, a strong connection is palpable in vulnerability. 

The Reflections series depicts fragments or episodes from personal encounters, in which the softening and intimacy I need to integrate them into my life's journey is repeatedly palpable.

In artphotography I found my way of dealing with life.

In abstraction I find refuge where I can experiment freely.

​

All art is and will be created in an empty white room, in complete silence.
